The Good Hood Association is a community based nonprofit organization that aims to encourage social restoration. We are committed to supporting and bringing attention to communities in need. We are here to promote community events that are fueled by donations and fundraising. With the aid of our sponsors, we are able to unlock opportunities that were previously unavailable. The association is a progressive initiative that gives a realistic, behind the scenes look at what it takes to create a successful community relationship. These initiatives are based on a strong, organized, supportive infrastructure. We are also focused on students in communities that are in need of educational materials and supplies. This focus is to create immediate and long lasting change in the lives of students in need. Our objective is to also promote positive vibrations by way of arts and music events that are community and culturally based. We do what we do, not because we can. We do it because we have experienced similar situations to those families that reach out to us. Breaking barriers, opens doors. It starts with the will to make a difference; by paving the way to a better tomorrow.
